In collaboration with Google and Boiler Room, TGITM developed a series of interactive experiences surrounding the launch of a fictional record label called “Pixel Records,” coinciding with the delivery of Google’s new Pixel 2 phone.

As a demonstration of the technical capabilities of the device and a celebration of the launch, visitors to Berlin’s Google Sci-Fi Supermall were invited to use the Pixel 2 to record clips of their voices, which were uploaded to our servers and processed into a new piece of music based on the shape of each individual voice.

In addition to the piece of music produced by our algorithms, a bespoke, generative cover artwork was created and displayed for each new audio clip.

The result of many visitors’ input was an AI-generated orchestra, visualized with a catalog of custom “album covers,” which was enjoyed by the crowd of the evening’s dance event.
