Parag
Parag (Ph.D), is an Indian American artist and interdisciplinary researcher with nearly 20 years of experience in computational arts and machine learning. He currently lectures at UCLA Design Media Arts and runs The Garden in the Machine, Inc, which he founded in 2010. His work spans machine learning, film cognition, and immersive technologies, blending generative film, AR, and expressive audiovisual systems to explore identity, memory, and perception. Mital’s personal work has been exhibited internationally, and he regularly collaborates with and consults for major cultural and tech organizations. In his leadership role at TGITM, Parag drives innovative projects and guides the team of experts in creating bespoke solutions for a diverse range of clients.
Breanna
Breanna is a creative technical director, designer, and real-time artist with a background in architecture, design, and entertainment. She excels in leading complex, multidisciplinary projects, ranging from the development of virtual environments to large-scale installations. Her work and research center on synthesizing advanced computational and generative workflows, working seamlessly between the virtual and the real. Breanna has collaborated with major international clients in a wide range of industries. In addition, she lectures at UCLA and the Southern California Institute of Architecture and maintains a personal media arts practice.
Seth
Seth is a programmer, sound artist, and musician. With a background in architecture and computer science and over 12 years of professional experience, he has worked with various startups, design agencies, and artists on large scale projects. His areas of interest include AI, full stack application development, generative audio, and experimental instrument design. In 2017, he founded Spiral Lab, a creative technology studio which focus on custom software for artists, exhibitions, and other creative applications.
Jacob
Jacob is a Creative Developer and Front-End Developer specializing in custom digital and physical experiences. Jacob leverages his expertise in WebGL, JavaScript, C++, OpenGL, and GLSL to create immersive, interactive projects. Recently, he has been exploring the use of Machine Learning and AI for generative arts and tools, driven by a passion for pushing creative boundaries in virtual environments. Dedicated to blending technology and design, Jacob experiments with crafting unique experiences that bridge the digital and physical worlds.
Arturo
Arturo is an artist, educator and engineer. He is one of the core developers of the open source toolkit for artists, designers and researchers openFrameworks. He collaborates with other artists and technologists on projects usually in the field of interactive and generative installations. Part of his practice consists of developing creative tools that enable and facilitate other artists and designers work with technology. His work has been exhibited internationally.
Arushi
Arushi is a computer scientist, infrastructure engineer, creative technologist, and musician. She thrives in dynamic, collaborative teams, bringing energy and innovation to every project. As a musician and speaker, she bridges the gap between technology and art, composing Indian classical music with modular synthesizers and sharing her insights at conferences. Arushi specializes in consulting on infrastructure, product specs, sound synthesis, and organizational challenges.
Krishna
Krishna is a sound artist, musician, mix engineer, and creative technologist. His sonic journey has spanned a range of genres, and his background includes a law degree and an MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media. The central tenet of his current artistic practice is activated listening – informed by soundscapes studies, interspecies communication, field work, mixing, and traditional meditation practices. Krishna also works with technological tools such as generative audio and sound, where he merges his music background with professional technical practice.
Leon
Leon is an Artificial Intelligence expert and the founder of several companies. He has two first class degrees in computer science topics, with his dissertation focused on combining Artificial Intelligence with music and sound generation. During his degree, he have forged a track record of learning new skills quickly; he has worked with high profile clients such as Massive Attack and Just Jam, bringing high-performance deep learning and audio-visual code. Leon has an excellent understanding of languages such as C++, Python, Java. Furthermore, he has knowledge and proven experience in machine-learning and general purpose libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, openFrameworks, Processing and more.
